The Trust Issue
The dilemma to this game is that it REQUIRES that you trust someone who is playing the game against you. You cannot make it far in this game unless you can find someone you trust who will not betray you at the first chance they get. Sierra ran into this right away. (Btw don’t you think she looks a little like a young skinny Drew Barrymore?) There was not way she could find the idol herself. So she had to find someone to trust without really know him. I actually believe that her choice was a good one. Time will tell of course. But the age old question rears its head. How can you trust someone you just met and are competing against to win $1,000,000? The answer…You can’t!
Pure Strength
In some of these challenges you see the importance of strength. Yet, those who seem strong do not perform the way you think they should. Now let’s put this into perspective. They have really not eaten much so therefore those with more muscle are in need of more protein. However, I was still disappointed in coach. I thought he really should have played a little harder or at least played some in the challenge.
Exile
What a unique twist. 2 people able to go to exile. Then to have the choice to be able to switch teams after exile. I do not think anyone would do that now, but I can see that happen if there is a mixing of the teams and someone wants to go be with their alliance on the other team. But how will that affect their game plan once the merge takes place. Hmm. One to think about.
Final 4
Yes it is that time of the article to discuss the final 4. After watching this week I must conclude that my final 4 pick from last week still is valid. Even more so with a possible alliance with Sierra and Brendan. So here they are in no particular order:
Brendan – I believe he is smart and playing the game yet still staying somewhat under the radar.
Sierra – She is a thinker and seems to be getting stronger as she goes along. She does not act as sick as she was. Although I think that if she is voted off it will be because she just cannot kick this sickness.
Tyson – He is the snake in the grass. He will be the one that tells you one thing to your face and do the exact opposite and then everyone blow it off for the most part.
Jerry – Quiet, yet extremely physical and I believe he is smarter than most of them on there. He is going to think this game through. He is level headed which will make him likable.
So there you have it. Now let me here from you.

Hey Pastor,
I have been anxiously waiting for your post. I'm not sure about Sierra and Drew similarities yet. In the picture I have, no. But I'll hold my opinion till later.
I think Sierra may be our new Sugar. She was smart enough to own up to her illness and then turn around and work her little butt off. Most women would have gotten there and stretched out on the beach hoping to have the Sun heal her.
I'm with you on all but Tyson. I think Tyson is sneaky and I don't trust sneaky people.
I like Brenden but he doesn't need the money. I hope he stays true to Sierra.
I don't like Coach. Next week will help me more to make some better opinions.

I was hoping you would find me this week. First of all read above what I wrote about Tyson and why I picked him. That will help you understand why I did.
Sierra has probably as much drive as I have ever seen in any Survivor. I think she has everything needed to win the game. Her downfall may be that she becomes too well liked. That can shoot you in the foot. As far as her being a Sugar, perhaps. I will have to withhold my judgment on that for a later discussion.

I don't think you CAN actually trust someone who is playing the game against you, not right away. The goal is to get people to trust YOU though while making them believe you trust them. If you make an instant friendship, perhaps, but you have to be careful with that too in case the rest of your team decides they don't like you for it lol.
As far as strength, one thing that bothers me immensely is how cocky and numbskull some of the bigger, beefier players get when they look down on some of the girls, especially the small ones. I say this because you cannot judge how strong someone is based purely on size. I am a very small person but I can lift more than my weight, I can probably balance better than a big guy and I might be able to run faster AND longer. I would be at a disadvantage if I was trying to hold onto something while someone was trying to pull me off, but that doesn't make me weak. It makes them a bully lol.
Coach underperformed, Ace underperformed, there were plenty of other people who have underperformed... CRYSTAL? LOL!
I think being able to switch teams would be helpful if your team was all going to vote you out and you knew about it... like SCREW YOU ! LOL!

True. You cannot fully trust, but there has to be a level of trust knowing that you are all trying to win $1million. So what do you do. The keys is "Don't get married" to the other players. Obviously I use an analogy. You do not want to become so attached to another player that you cannot walk away from that player if you find a better deal.
As far as the cockiness of the larger player, I fully agree. Those who seem the strongest are usually more affected by the lack of food than those smaller individuals. So they will not always perform as well. I also believe that your attitude toward the other players will play into how well you perform too.
Thanks for the response. Be sure to catch every week. I have week 3 out if you have not seen it.
