Hanging Toilet Paper

Is there a certain way the toilet paper should be hung up? Is it over the top or let it come down through the bottom? My sister isn law says there is a certain way to hang toilet paper and its over the top and when it isnt hung properly it bugs her. Does it bug you when the toilet paper isnt the way you like it? I think this is a certain thing that some people like or dislike.

I always hang mine so that the bit to use is nearest to you, so that would be over the top. If you hang it the other way, you can't always find the end. I know lots of people who hang it the other way though. I think it's probably that you start hanging one way, and just get used to it like that.
