How best to care for my lament flooring

Lament flooring - How do I take care of it?

Over the week-end my husband and brother-in-law put down lament flooring in the den. We bought it from Lowes. It isn't the most expensive stuff, but it isn't at the cheapest end either. It probably falls somewhere in the middle. My question is, how do I best care for it? What should I do and not do? A friend of mine has it through her house, they had a leak and she said she didn't know how long the water had puddled on the floor under the couch before she found it, but it didn't show any signs of damage. Yet a man my husband works with said his kids can leave a damp towel on theirs and it shows damage. I don't plan to take any chances with mine and puddled water, but how would you guys suggest I clean it. I bought a couple of nice dust mops because we plan to do the whole house over the next year.

I use a dust mop made by O Cedar and I spray endust on it. So far I have been able to just simply wipe up spills and haven't had to actually mop it. But all they reccomended for me was to use something non-abrasive for mopping. I plan to use Pine sol and water to mop it.

Is this a new dust mop? - Oh noooo....it's a dog, really it is.
I was wondering about using furniture polish on my dust mops. I bought two dust mops, one is like 24" wide and then a regular width. Like I said, we will eventually do the whole house and since the living room is kind of big, I didn't want to be running all over the place with this little dinky mop. I wonder if they make a dust mop spray for lament flooring? Be worth checking out.

Yes they do. Endust is oil free. Don't use regualr furniture polish unless you are good at skiing! The Endust is found in the store around the dustmops it is specifically made for this flooring.

Excellent! Thank-you. I've heard of Endust, even used it before. I didn't know it was recommended for floors. What about this O'Cedar dust mop you use, is that particular mop recommended or do just prefer it?
