If you could be anyone in the world who would you want to be?

I have a day dream that my fairy god mother comes along and agrees to turn me into who ever I want to be. It could be a better me or it could be a different person altogether. I think I would choose a better me. Who would you choose? If you could be anyone in the world who would you want to be? Please share...

Hmm.. I've been reading this topic and yet I couldn't really choose who. I don't even have an idea who I am going to be.
But I know who I don't want to be:
I don't want to be the President of any country. It's too stressful, and what you get are people always disagreeing and only sees everything wrong instead of just cooperating. Not to mention that they expect you to be a superhero to turn things around at once!
I don't want to be the famous movie stars. Yes, they may look glamorous and all. But they couldn't even get a single privacy. They'd have to pay not to be disturbed! Whew..
I don't want to be the millionaires who only have money, yes they can pay everyone for everything. But at the end of the day, they have no idea who's real or who's just after their money. Plus, every day they must see to it, that their money won't disappear. It's just too stressful.
I think if I were you, and that fairy god mother would be willing to seat a while and talk about things, I'd rather like to have a daily allowance of $100 which earns 20% a year. Not enough to buy a house, nor a car. But enough for me to live in and if ever I have an extra, I could give to charity. So that I would focus on other things rather than be a lowly employee working my time away.

Great response. I did not look at it that way. I definitely would not like to be famous and lose my privacy either. $100 a day doesn't sound like all that much but wouldn't it make a huge difference? Thank you for the reply!

I bet your heart is just as wonderful; it's just that she can afford to give more and use her fame to make people aware of appalling conditions in the world. Having said that I wouldn't mind looking like her! (LOL)

This is funny because when I teach my authentic self classes we talk about it in one of the readings from Simple Abundance about this very desire-the desire to be someone else. I've often thought "Oh, I want to be this famous actress" or "I wish I was Elizabeth I", etc. Then, I do research, learn about them, and find out I'll take my life. I think I too wish I could be 100 pounds lighter then I am now, perhaps with more monies, but to be honest lately I've been trying to spend my time in the present moment being happy with who I am, where I am, and what I have.
(However, secretly, if I could look like Fiona from Burn Notice-that's who I'd love to look like, well and have all those well weapons lol).

It's interesting how you could really admire someone but if you were to analyse his or her life you may find your life is not so bad after all! Being happy with yourself and living in the present moment is the best philosophy. Thanks for responding!

Interesting question!
I'd choose to be me, but a better version of me. I'd settle for being healthier and finacially better off.
Money would solve so many of the problems and concerns in my life heh.

I can relate to that! I'd like a better version of me as well and a little extra money sure would help! Thanks for the response!
