| I am going to do something when I am some body...  | | | |  We have all heard it before.
People proclaiming to "Someday, when I am somebody, I will do something."
It is always the same. That they will only do something after they become somebody.
But no one ever says, "Today I'm going to do something so that I will be somebody".
We have all heard of people griping and griping none stop about how life is not dealing them a fair deck to play with. And that if they had the resources to do this, and do that, they would do it. Some day. When they have that resources. When they are that some body.
Well, why not look at the equation the other way around?
That you do something today to be that some body. So that you can have that resources to do what you want to do when you become that some body.
I mean, everything is in the grasp of our hand right? Every journey to any goal is that first step right? So why not take that first step to be some body then?
Well, I am. I joined mylot and set up a blog to try and be that somebody that I craved to be. And with the first step taken, I am looking for the next step. And then the next after that. And another next after that...
How about you?
Are you the one that proclaims that "Someday, when I am somebody, I will do something."?
Or
Are you the one that is gonna say ""Today I'm going to do something so that I will be somebody"?

| |  I do not believe that I need to be somebody before I do something. I do not agree that it doing something needs to be done someday -- someday is a very uncertain time. If we are sincere in our hearts to do an random good act, we can do it now. We are all capable of doing a small thing that would mean so much. I may not have millions of money but I could acknowledge a guard opening the door for me by greeting him back when he greets me good day and by thanking him. I could help an old lady or man cross the street. I could comfort a child. These acts does not require me to be a somebody. I could be my simple self and still do something.

| |  Most ple will have the proclaim of, 'When i'm somebody, i will do something' because they lack the confidence and attitude to do so.. They are afraid of failures.. Thus, they are using those words of encouragement for themselves, and so if they din manage to do anything, their claims serves as sort of protection for themselves.. lol =D
As for me and u, we might belong to those of, 'bitterness comes before sweetness'.. Meaning we fight to be what we wann be, and we make use of opportunities, creating them, instead of waiting for them to come to us ^_^ haha =D
