A couple days ago, I got this email from Twitter. The email read: Hi, snam23. Us President Obama (SenatorBObama) is now following your updates on Twitter. Check out Us President Obama's profile here: http://twitter.com/SenatorBObama You may follow Us President Obama as well by clicking on the "follow" button. Best, Twitter -- Turn off these emails at: http://twitter.com/account/notifications Sorry for the links. I just copied and pasted the email. But there are two problems. One, I cannot seem to find the president on my list of followers, nor can I find him on Twitter. If you follow the link to his page, his account has been suspended. What do you make of this? Is he an imposer or really the president? Notice how it says "SenatorBObama". Interesting...

I just saw on the news yesterday - that in Congress and the Senate..while they are fighting over how to spend our money for us...that Twitter is in overdrive! Instead of dealing with the problems at hand, they are all sitting there "twittering" their maximum 140 characters while whoever is speaking! They showed some of the phrases and they were totally non related to the job, like 'so and so needs a hair cut" or "she had on a nice outfit"... I don't know much about actual twitter but what I have heard, but it is being abused... or should I say we are, becuase instead of doing their jobs, they are sitting there twittering! Even President does it! And apparently you can find these twitters online some how... and yes, they did say that anyone can take a name, do a single letter or space change and make it appear to be from someone else. I think these kinds of devices should not be allowed in places like Congress while they are dealing with country affairs and spending money - obviously no one is paying any attention!

Now that I think about it, anyone can be anyone on Twitter. Its like the rest of the web. You can impersonate anyone, like you said. Thanks for bringing me back to reality. Happy mylotting!

I guess it's not totally impossible but it's unlikely. Last year we had a President Clinton here on the lot!

I don't know, I haven't seen him in 6 months at least. I think Lincoln and Washington were on too!
