I didnt catch the whole story but I heard something about Tornados??

I dont know if there were any actual tornadoes yet I have been on this big storm spotting kick lately, yesturday I was looking at the National Weather Service doppler radars and there was a massive storm sytem all across the south and up into parts of southern new England The area that caught my attention was around Birmingham, AL you could see on radar classic hook echos and it was right there where the cold front from the north met the warm gulf front I told my husband that something was going to happen with that system If I was right about it then maybe I should be a storm spotter LOL

I don't hear any warnings here because I don't live anywhere near a tornado zone.

Even though currently I'm not living in US, but I watched the news via online CNN while working at my computer and the newscaster told about Tornado warning covers two (2) states; Alabama and Georgia. They also refer to the NOAA's National Weather Service for tornado warning where their website updated for every 10 minutes; now the warning level is quite high which is 42; http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/wwa/
