Do you fight for the TV remote or the programmes that you want to watch?

We happen to fight for the big TV thats in the hall also for the remote. Everyone in my house has different tastes and we end up hiding the remote, fighting and begging the other to use the other TV. Does this happen at your house? What are the techniques you employ to get things done your way?

No, actually we do watch the same channel and we don't fight over it. We do watch cartoons on television. Aside from that, we don't watch anything else. We are not into watching soap operas or other else.
Most of the time we do watch movies on television so we don't argue on switching channels. My brothers and I do watch the same favorite cartoons on tv. I haven't got anything to worry since my mom and dad don't watch television too.
So i cannot be able to tell what techniques to employ for siblings fighting over a channel since we don't. Happy Mylotting!

Hi nikky... I used to fight during my childhood days with my brother for the remote. I always want to watch songs or movies or cricket on TV, but my brother wants to see only cartoon network, pogo. After we come home from school just we try to run into hall as soon as possible to acquire the remote. We had decided that who gets the remote first they will watch the programs of their wish for the next 1 hour. This way we used to compromise for the remote.

You don't need to fight with the television remote. You can do scheduling. Like for each hour, a person is in charge of the television. It words well with that. Or what we usually do is using the 'majority rules' if more of us want a particular channel, then that channel would be the one chosen.
Better yet, buy your own television. That could keep the peace, but I'm sure many problems would arise with higher electricity bills. Hahahaha

Yes , with my son he likes cartoons channl... he keeps the remote under him so i can't easily switch to my fave tv prog. But recently just talked to him in motherly manner that he should open his classnotes first before i can allow him watch television or play his favorite toys.

Happy mylotting!
