I am looking into buying some un-circulated coins and Amazon.com has great prices. It appears that the coins are being sold by Amazon, not a seller under the 'new & used' section. Has anyone ordered coins from them before? I would like to place the order soon but want to make sure this is a good place to order them from.

If you're considering ordering new and uncirculated coins from Amazon, they're one of the reliable online retailers I use (I haven't used them for coins yet,though..)... I'd say It would be as good a place as any to buy from, but do check out a few of your alternatives first,eg. Ebay, coin dealers,etc..

I'm a little hesitant to order from E-bay, the coins might not be in as good a condition as some will claim. They may finger the coins, for instance, not realizing that causes them to go from uncirculated to circulated status. So I am definitely shopping around here, looking for a good deal from a reliable source.

Interesting! I just got into coin collecting myself..and I buy a lot on amazon..but didn't know this..then again I have not yet looked there for coins. I will say though I have bought on ebay..I bought from a seller in China. It does take a long time, but I got the coin $10 cheaper than I could've here. I'm going to go check amazon now for coins!
