How to become a better partner?  

just be yourself,

your partner become your partner for one reason she/he liked you for being you.

You have to always show respect but doing things you wouldnt normally do wont make you a better partner.

Tho being true to yourself and not being someone you arent will make you a better partner as thats who you are.

What you say is right. You need to care for your spouse and make sure that you listen to them and have trust and respect for each other. It is also important to develop a good communication between your spouse. The more you know your partner the better.

You should be helping each other much and not competing with each other. And when you have petty quarrels of fights, don't get pride get in the way, this is a big stumbling block in a relationship.

Improve yourself more by taking consideration of what your spouse is suggesting you. Listen to him and he will also listen to you. Give and take my friend is essential. You should also surprise your beloved by giving him or her the things she do like or doing things he or she would appreciate you.

Sometimes it just happens,but it is up to the neglected partner to point this out.Have a quiet word you don't have to argue or do anything unpleasant.Both partners in a relationship need to feel loved and wanted,otherwise you are on a lost cause.you wake up one morning and it is all over,they have left or gone off with someone else and you have no idea why.You hear plenty of stories about someone left and not knowing whats gone wrong,the other one had enough,and some poor soul did not even realise there was a problem,so communicate with one another.It is not just up to the woman or the man it is up to both of them {or civil partnerships}before the rot sets in.sometimes it just happens one of them has found someone else and no matter how hard they try it is over.xx

Respect is the highest of them all, because if you respect someone, you don't do anything to hurt that someone.

you can always find a person who can be your friend, your companion but its very hard to find a person who can be your partner [like one who will respect, love, trust and take care of you all at the same time]. thus, you really need to take care of that person if ever you already met him/her. i agree on the 3 steps as well... since for married couples and those who are not but have a stable relationship for years now, trust and respect is the main thing to consider. i already have a 6yrs married life... love will come 2nd to trust and respect, for if you have trust and respect love will always be there. if you don't respect your partner you might end up llosing the trust and love of the person...

Best way to become a perfect partner is

1. If you are female....just spend less money of your husband for shopping.

and

2. if you are male..... just do as your wife says.....

Sometimes it's really hard to be a better partner when you are not a feeling well. But in myself, I always try to be a better wife to my husband even sometimes I reach the point that was irritated in things but i was realized and be cool. When you loved someone you can do anything to make a relationship better with respect, trust and understanding.
