Pretty much the same as you. I am not good at buying gifts and I hate shopping, so going off someone's registry to buy them something would drive me insane. So we usually give cash, like you said between $75.00 and $100 dollars depending on the couple. We have given a little more to some people over the years. We just had a wedding, we gave them $80.00, but we paid for the bachelor party, and half of the bachellorette party, and my wife did the ceremony. So we had already put out quite a bit.

Hi ladym,
I only gave cash to my Sister's wedding but for the rest I have attended like friends, I always buy stuff like kitchen utensils or anything they can use in their new house!
But, it's always difficult for me to decide....Sometimes, I asked my friend to be with me to help me pick and decide!

it just depends upon the wedding if it is an italian wedding they want cash only in an envelop and if it a canadian wedding depends on if the bride suggested money or prefers a gift. I wouldn't have 100 to give anyone and so I don't really go to weddings anymore, people understand

We'll find out where they are registered and go that route. A gift of cash is nice too.

We give about the same. We try to give $100 if it fits into our budget. It seems like a reasonable amount to give. If it is somebody we don't know very well, we will give less. But, it is nice to help couples start their marriages off on the right foot.
