What will the idiots do next. A man was standing in a parking spot to save it for his wife and a stupid idiot runs into him, backs up and does it again. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090304/ap_on_fe_st/odd_gas_line_hit_1

Road rage waiting to happen. The man who did the hitting obviously has an uncontrollable temper. He ought to lose his license for life. Let him ride a bus, and save the rest of us the risk of his temper.

I would definitely pull his license for a few years. His driving is unsafe. A car is a big dangerous weapon in his hands.

All over a parking spot, that's crazy. Sounds as if the man who was driving the car and ran into the other man has anger issues. It's sad though now that one person would have so much road rage, or whatever you might call it, that he would run into another person just because of the parking spot. I know I've been peeved that people have held parking spots for others, and I've even suggested doing so myself, but I really do think that it is a bad thing to do when one has so much rage, that they hurt a person just saving a parking spot!

He obviously has anger and entitlement issues. OK the guy shouldn't have been saving the spot. Parking is on a first come first serve, but to run into him on purpose and do it twice so there is no doubt that it isn't an accident is even more wrong. What ever happened to using ones mouth and yelling?

I'm not into physical violence. I'm a yeller. I would give that idiot a piece of my mind and make him feel like he's lower than a worm.

Wow, what people won't do for a parking spot. Parking is expensive and hard to find sometimes in California and people do crazy things for the free spots. But run into someone twice, please--people should know better and be better than that.

too true. Who ever heard of parking rage?

This was in suburban Florida were parking isn't a huge problem. Even if it had happened down town in a major city, there s no excuse to run into someone for a parking spot.

Maybe it was the same guy that parked in the bit of space between two handicapped parking spaces at my local Value Village today.

I hate it when people use the space for the mobility impaired. Those spaces enable people to get out and go places like everyone else. A few years ago we had a big thing at the mall to make people aware of not parking in the handicapped spaces. We had balloons and signs and a huge number of high school kids helped out. Those high schoolers are the next generation of drives, so getting them involved is a huge step to solving the problem.

As you know, those parking spots are wider than the "normal" ones so that there's room to get a wheelchair in there. Well, when one vehicle parks closer to the left line and the one next to it parks closer to the right line, there ends up being significant room between them, and this idiot took advantage of it. I don't know how they managed to get out of their vehicle, though: it was rather tight.

Both should know better, but standing in a parking space to save it for someone is common in the States. Also a husbands needs to obey his wife or all hell can break loose.

Wow!! How stupid can some people be? And this person thinks they can do something like this and get away with it? I honestly think sometimes people have no respect for others, and what is a parking Spot anyways? I have seen people though here in our area at Christmas time especially hold a parking spot for someone even if they are not there at that time. I would never consider doing something like this, but to run someone down because you're upset because someone is standing in a spot you were wanting to park in is unreal as well.

First, I can't believe that anyone would be stupid enough to stand in a parking spot to "save" it...look for another one...geez. Secondly, I can't believe that anyone would think it is worth possibly killing someone by running them down over a parking spot...again, look for another one...geez! And finally, I can't believe that the person that ran him down really thought that it was worth going to jail...at least he/she won't be out there to run down anyone else. Some people don't think. They just act on their misguided gut feelings. At least on of them will spend some quality time in a cell getting to know his new best friends Spike and Buba.

I'm not sure what one is dumber, the one that stood in a parking spot to hold it or the one that thought that a parking spot is worth running someone down. I'd say they both need some mental help. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Saving a space is rude. They are on first come first serve basis. Now to run someone over because of it is psycho. Lock him up for life.

I'd like to point out that this was at a gas station, so maybe they needed to use a certain pump, or maybe the air pump for the tires. Also, the man wasn't "run over" but bumped (still not acceptable). I was riding with a friend who needed to get air in one of the tires. There was a car parked at the air hose spot, with a man inside, just sitting there doing nothing. So after a minute she beeped and he backed up and got out of the way. She filled the tire with the slow leak, and checked the other three tires and the guy got hot under the collar that she was taking too much time!

What a doofus!! That should be manslaughter! Running into him the first time was bad enough, but then again? Was he too incompetent to get out of the car and look at what he hit? He deserves to sit in jail for a long time!

At least assault with a deadly weapon. He needs to learn a lesson. You don't run people over just because they are standing were you want to put your car. That's why we don't let 3 year olds drive. They might do these things. Adults should know better. Maybe they should put a question on the drivers test. Is it okay to run someone over if they are standing in your way?

Whoops, sorry! Wasn't able to see the video. Attempted manslaughter. How's that?
