Laptop What Kind?

It depends what you do with it - 1) If all you do is really internet, writing, and maybe some basic games (like solitaire) 100-300$. 2) If you play small downloadable games and/or use big software occasionally, 400-600$. 3) If you use big software a lot (like if you use Dreamweaver, Photoshop, or recording software everyday multiple times a day) then I would say 500-1000$ 4) If you like to play Console-like games from this generation, 1000-3000$.

certainly depends on how much money you have available. However I believe that a laptop that combines excellent price performance.
