Why am I on MyLot?
If you guessed "because you want to earn money", you're almost right. I honestly don't care about mylot's payment program at all. I used to be an active member here and it just wasn't worth it for me (money wise).
However, I am here to earn money - sort of.
I want to take on freelance gigs, but I need a portfolio. Unfortunately, most of the writing gigs I take are ghostwriting. I don't keep copyright; I don't have a byline; technically, I have nothing to do with the article. Because of this my portfolio mostly contains of articles I wrote for fun; such articles don't usually feature my best work since I don't revise it as seriously. I do much better work when it's assigned by someone.
So, I am here to create a portfolio. I figure people on a money-earning site like mylot are likely to have blogs, youtube videos, etc... I will then offer (free) services in exchange for a byline.
These services may be for:
- Writing
- Store FAQS & Terms
- Technical Writing (manuals, reports, etc..)
- Blog/Article writing
- Transcription
- Writing down scripts of Youtube videos you own.
- Writing down scripts of podcasts you've made
- HTML and CSS
- If you need a quick website or landing page.
- If you need squidoo modifications
- Translation
- French to English only
Anything I do would be on my Google Sites Portfolio. If you are afraid of google rank changes, I will take requests to put my information in a picture instead of search-able text. | |
