We use separate soaps, it because we have different skin types. My father love his old brand while my mother prefer another kind of soap that make her skin smooth. I am not using soap for the body, i use body wash by dove. My niece use dove bar soap.
Its good to have different soap for every member of family especially if other members experienced skin irritations. My dermatologist told me before to use tender care soap and not to share with my family. So i stick with that advice until now. But not tender care anymore, but dove body wash, its great for the skin.

Each member of my family has his/her own soap. Because we have different favourite smell. I like soft and mild fragance, my mother like fruit fragance. And the others like sporty and masculine fragance. But for facial wash, we use the same product.

aside from facial wash, we use the same shampoo, the same bath soap.
but for facial products, my dad uses his own set whereas me and mum use the same.

Yes i do use a seperate soap. However there is nobody in my house except me as i am single so i do not have much to worry about. My brother and his family were staying with me till 1991 and they used seperate soaps too. then they moved to Canada so i was on my own with my mom. Both of us had our own soaps. Then she passed away 3 years back so now i am all alone . Just a month back my brother and family came for a visit and they brought their own soaps. It is always better to have our own individual soaps since one may have skin ailments which can be passed on to others or the other way round. It is hygeinic to have our own soaps.

It's only my husband and me at home. We only share the same soap for washing hands. Other than that, he has a soap for bathing, another for washing his face. I have my shower gel and facial foam. As to shampoos, we both use different brands.

We do have different kinds of soap. My mom would use Likas Papaya soap for her face. Like for me, i would use a rice bran soap for my face. And for the body we would use the same kind of soap which is Heno de pravia.
My younger brother uses a different kind of soap too. He would be using musky scented soap for himself. And in his body he would use Palmolive. Our helper has a different soap too, mostly they used Lifebuoy or Safeguard as body soap.

There are only 3 members in my family and we don't have separate soap for every member. We share the same soap and we don't have any problem in that.

For the purpose of bathing, I and my mom use the same soap and we're fine with it. For other purposes, all of us have different soaps, as would be the case in most of the families. One might have apprehensions about sharing the bathing soap with someone but I am fine with it.

Not only do we have separate soaps, we have separate bathrooms! I have a bottle of liquid handsoap on the sink and I get a lot of soaps as gifts from people but my first preference for bathing is African black soap.
