how many mouse's you have purchased till now  

I have bought around 5 in my life, they last me a lot

In my lifetime? I guess we buy at least one nuw mouse every year, but since we have 3 comuters running at the moment (we used to have 4) and are frequent users - they get old and worn out...

But a mouse should manage to "live" for at least a year even with frequent use - so you must have had big problems with yours (if it's not anyone that brakes them by using them wrong that is) what's wrong with them? I hope you didn't have to buy new ones if they broke down that fast after you bought them - here it would have been fine to get a new one if the first didn't work!

If it's a mouse with a ball, you may need to clean the two small rollers inside. Undo the cover that holds the ball in place and drop the ball out. Inside you will see two small rods at right angles to each other. You will very likely see that they have picked up a deposit of dust. Using a toothpick or cocktail stick, clean this lump of dirt off each roller, blowing the bits out of the mouse case. Once the rollers are clean, wash the ball with a little soap and water. Dry it carefully and put the mouse back together.

I have one mouse the one that came with my computer, I was having problems with my mouse after I have had my computer for a while, and I was going to buy me another mouse for my computer, the problem was my mouse needed cleaning out, so what I did was look up a web site on how to clean my mouse, and when I found out how to clean it, I check in now to see it dirt has got up in my mouse, I take it apart and clean it this saves me lots of money

iam using microsoft optical mouse since last 10 years .It has no problem.Previously iused logitec ball based mouses.I used around 8 logitech ball mouses in just two years.So it is the advantage of usb optical mose .Better to buy mouse with guarrenty.There are also mouses with very low price if you choose them you have change many mouses for year.

Hello chimrani! So far, I only purchased one mouse so far. We have many users too. My 3 siblings will used it sometimes. But we are very careful in using it. But you're right, it's really hard if many would use your pc. You can't control the user and there are users who doesn't care about using it whether they will ruin it or not.

I usually buy one every year for sanitary purposes. I heard that keyboards hold more bacteria than a public toilet. You should always clean or buy a new one periodically.

I recently changed my mouse to optical one.I am finding it very good.I used my old mouse for about like one year an dthen it got worn out,doesn't function properly even when I cleaned it,so I needed a replacement and I got a good one now.

i have had the same computer and mouse for about 7 years now. i dont know what the average time span a computer is supose to last but i consider this pretty good sense i have small kids using the computer often.i do however need to buy some memorie for my computer but i am not sure how all of that works i hope i can put it in my self.
