What kind of mouth wash do you use with your water pik?

i just got a water pik (a thing that cleans your teeth like the dentist when they spray inside with water) and it has a reservoir and said i could use my own mouth wash.. well i use prescription type and that container is so huge it would cost a fortune to fill it up with the amount i would have to use.. i was thinking about switching to a regular mouth wash for when i use it but then was wondering about natural or something that i could make myself with natural ingredients so i could avoid the alcohol of the mainstream ones..
what type of mouth wash do you use with your water pik? do you make your own some how or mix it/dilute regular??

I don't use any mouth wash. Most of the time, I would just brush and rinse.
That's it. No fanciful mouth wash or anything like that.
Does mouth wash really help? I don't really know cos I have never used them before.
Any picture of a pik? What does it look like?

its a little took to wash your gums and and teeth that you fill with water or mouth wash etc.

I did it again!!! Since my wife and I are sharing a computer at the moment, when she logs out of MyLot, it doesn't really log her out. So the first post I make here every day is under her login and she gets the points. This is beginning to aggravate me because there are at least 30 points I should have but are credited to her. haha yeah i had the same problem! im glad my bestfriend has my old laptop and my hubby has his so there wont be anyone else to log in on mylot but me here.. HOPEFULLY

I absolutely loved my water pik (when I had teeth). I preferred to add 50% Listerine original (the strong medicine-tasting variety that's been around since I was a kid). Occasionally I would use a mixture of baking soda and salt (50-50) to the water, but you have to be careful to thoroughly rinse the machine out or the powder will jam the pump.

i did not try that but we have a lesterine mouth wash and we are happy for it.
