Sigfried and Roy's farewell show

I just finished watching Sigfried and Roy's final show, their chance to say good by to all their fans and also to raise money for a new hospital.
I have to admit magic shows and all the hoopla have never been my favorite kind of show, but to see the tables turned, with Roy as the "pointer" and Sigfried as the "doer", to see them reverse roles in order to do the show, short though it was, was really touching. Did anybody else watch it? What did you think?

I honestly couldn't tell you which one was Seigfried and which one was Roy if they were standing right in front of me. It seems not long ago at all when one of them was mauled by a tiger of theirs. Which one got mauled? I'm glad to hear they used the profits to fund a worthy cause.

Roy was the one who was injured. He was always the "doer", the athelete. The Doctors said he'd probabaly never walk or talk again, but you just never know.

I really wanted to see that show, I hope there is a replay of it. I was watching it, and a commercial came on, I so called rested my eyes, and when I opened them the show was over. I think I may have seen ten or fifteen minutes of it. I love those big cats, they are so beautiful.

Oh, I'm laughing at you "resting your eyes". I'm glad to hear that someone else does that. I usually watch a soap opera in the afternoon and thursday I wasn't feeling very well, so I laid down on the couch instead of sitting in the chair. I woke up 2 hours later. Didn't see a bit of the soap.
