Sigfried and Roy's farewell show  

Yes, five and a half years ago. He flatlined 3 times on the operating table, then the Dr.s told Sigfried that Roy would probably never walk or even be able to speak again. I think the show should have been called Reprieve for Monticore, because he was the tiger that injured Roy, and he appeared on the show too.

Oh wow..so he WAS seriously injured! They let the tiger live, usually they execute any animal that harms a human, their fault or not. That's interesting.

wasn't the tiger's fault Irish and Roy would never let them put any of the tigers down.

Yes, with blood pumping out of the two holes in his neck he kept repeating don't shoot Monticore. He said on the interview with Elizabeth Varga that he'd had a stroke and Monticore knew something was wrong and was carrying him off stage. It was not an attack. Unfortunately human skin isn't thick enough to withstand that pressure.

Ohhh..that gives me goosebumps! Wow, at least he was wise enough to know to tell them not to shoot him. WOW...................

Roy was the one who was injured. He was always the "doer", the athelete. The Doctors said he'd probabaly never walk or talk again, but you just never know.

Wait, he still can't talk? I thought I saw a Barbara Walters special a year or so after the attack. But I guess I didn't watch enough to know he still can't talk?

Oh, I'm laughing at you "resting your eyes". I'm glad to hear that someone else does that. I usually watch a soap opera in the afternoon and thursday I wasn't feeling very well, so I laid down on the couch instead of sitting in the chair. I woke up 2 hours later. Didn't see a bit of the soap.
