painting you house

Few blocks from my place, these houses was retouched of colourful paint. The first house was painted with dark orange, the other has a rose paint... and the rest was painted a very classy cream colour. I wonder why they do it as well, I mean our house is painted with a red rose, because of what my nan thought that if we painted it and years come even if it fades the colour will turn into light red or kinda pinky which saves us aswell from repainting unless we would want another colour.
Would you paint your house aside from whited or cream? what colour would you use? and WHy?

hi if I were to have a house again I would have redwood siding on the outside of my house as it looks so neat, and it would tie in with some ideas i wou ld have about interior decorating too. but right now this is all dreaming.

hi mz_1ra...good reason i guess...yeah i had painted my house in princess color but faded after a year ..and im planning to put bricks or tiles on the walling outside to last long(the color)better than the paint itself...maybe next month , april God's willing we will pursue our plan...

I guess it was for the purpose of having a colorful community that can stand out among the rest.. hehe ^_^ As for my house, most of my walls are painted in white when i was a kid.. BUt as both me and my brother finished our studies, our walls are painted more to cream color, as we dun need such bright walls anymore.. haha =D
BUt in my room, my wall is painted in peach color while my parents rooms is slightly orangy.. lol =D I would like to try green one day, if my brother dun mind though as we are sharing one room.. hehe
