1. carolbee (6685) | 9 months ago | My all time favorite movie that was made in the 1930's and in black and white is "the Wizard of Oz." Although I have to admit it's nice now to watch it in color and see how pretty the land of oz actually looks. I like the theme and Judy Garland. I have also watched alot of the "3 Stooges" in black and white. To this day I still think they are funny.

5. katsalot1 (873) | 9 months ago | I have seen a lot of black and white films that I've enjoyed, but usually forget the names of them. One I do remember is with James Stewart who has an invisible friend who is a six foot tall white rabbit called Harvey. I'm not sure if Harvey is the name of the film or not. Actually I've liked most of the James Stewart films, and I think a lot of them were in black and white.

6. VANILLAREY (924) | 9 months ago | Yeah Chalti ka Nam Gadi is a funny movie. I liked 'Do Aankhen Baara Haat'I heard Amitabh Bacchan's Saat Hindustani was good. Charlie Chaplin's 'The Kid' is just superb. You should also watch Akira Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai' and his other movies. I watched Satyajit Ray's two movies. I don't remember the names. One movie is a detective story about stolen gem stone. The other movie is about a mid level manager working in a fan manufacturing company. I hope to see more of his movies. Now don't forget Alfred Hitchcock's 'Pycho'. There are many other movies. I hope other members will add more movie names.
