What kind of a world do we live in

One of the guys in my department just came to see me because he needs Wednesday off so he can go to hearing to stop his son from being expelled from school. What was his hanious crime, you may ask. He kissed his girlfriend goodbye on school property. I think this whole political correctness, moralistic society that we are turing into is absurd. Getting a kiss from a boyfriend or a girlfriend at school is part of the whole high school experience. Do you think that a kid should get expelled his senior year of high school for kissing his girlfriend goodbye?
