I hate my single status!

I dont mind it however I would love to have a companion XD.

there is nothing wrong with being single use it as a time to get to know yourself better and what you want from life then when the right person does come along you will be more attractive to them just because of your self confidence and knowing your own mind.

Honestly, I hate my single status as well. I've had a mad crush on a delivery driver at work, but I know he isn't interested in me, but it's no big deal. I know someday soon I will meet someone who will love me for who I am. I think the hardest thing is just waiting. I haven't had a date in over a year and I'm a single mother so getting out and meeting new people isn't that easy for me. I just keep telling myself that it isn't my time, yeah, I wish it was my time, but there isn't anything I can do about it, so no need to dwell on it, right?

Keep your chin up, someone special will come in your life when you least expect it. That's what everyone keeps telling me.

Hey there! That's sad. How long have you been single? I know you want some one who will love you, but being single is not bad at all. There's your friends. You can go out as a group. Explore new things and maybe you might bump into a nice guy who'll get interested with you. Before, when I was still single I use to do all the things that I wanna do. I appreciate and enjoy the time that I'm single coz I believe that its still a blessing. There are lessons in life that I think I'll only learn when I'm single. Can't really enumerate those but I can say that when you're with someone, sometimes you tend to focus on that person so much that you forget others and you forget yourself. But of course, having someone is also a gift.
Still, you can enjoy being single and take that time to do things you haven't done when you're still committed. That's what I'm doing right now.

Well, I'm 32 and still single. Never been married, although I do have a boyfriend. It's tough, I know. What I hate about it is when people you barely know have the gall to ask me why the heck I'm still single. Honestly, I don't know why. I guess the time will come when it comes. I used to hate being single. Especially when friends of mine started getting married or bearing kids left and right. But, I am now more understanding of the situation. I'm not resigning myself to eternal single-blessedness. It's just that I've accepted the fact. I try to focus on the positive side of being single. That is, at least, I have more time for myself and I have more time to enjoy doing things which I know I won't be able to enjoy once I'm married.

Being single allows you far more opportunities than a relationship does. You don't have to tell anyone where you're going or what you're doing or who you've been doing it with. It's nice to have to answer to no one and to do things on your own without someone there pestering you all the time. I've been single my whole life (my choice) and just recently started seeing someone who respects my thoughts. People are far too controlling for their own good and I don't like that so I've stayed single until now because I didn't think anyone else shared those views. I still enjoy single life better, but don't tell my boyfriend that;)

Just get out and enjoy yourself. No one needs to be in a relationship. No one needs a relationship to complete them. But a relationship is a nice thing when your life is in order and you are happy already. If you are looking for a relationship to do that, then you are doomed to failure before you start.
No one wants a cling on. No one wants an overly needy partner.
If you can live life to the fullest without being with someone, then you will be attractive to everyone. You can then have a real relationship for the sake of love and sharing and because it feels right. Not because it is a requirement to get along in life. Because it isn't and was never intended to be.
Love life and yourself first. Be active and fun. Do those things you have been putting aside and try new things. Have lots of fun, and be a people magnet.

Enjoy being alone. Easier to say than do, but it really helps. If you're depressed about being alone, you convey that to others and either keep them away (because you're negative and glum) or scare them away because you'll attach too quickly as soon as you get some attention and they'll think you're needy/clingy.

You don't have to worry about consequences- you don't miss out on time with friends because of being with a date, or vice versa, and it's usually more economical too. No relationship is much better than a bad relationship; rush into the wrong thing and you'll miss other chances as you try to work your way out of it.


Just let it happen for now, and don't worry about finding someone. If you really stop worrying about it, someone tends to fall into place pretty quickly. (At least, it has for me, and I'm definitely not a looker/great catch.)

being single is just a natural phenomenon.. it is a stage in life that everybody willingly goes through and willingly stays put too. you may decide to remain single and also decide not to. there are no two ways about that but in essence, its a natural stage in life.
