Do u give alms to a begger everytime ur asked for..??why do u do so..??  

I give alms as long as I have something give them that won't compromise myself. Helping other people especially the needy is such a best act of kindness now.

I used to; then we heard that some of these beggars were brought into the country by syndicates. They would beg, and keep part of the money as commission, giving the rest back to the syndicates. These are not local beggars, mind you. So I stopped giving to them; rather give to the charity homes or shelters.

I dont give alms to people who are fit and fine and still beg, these days it has become a fashion that many women carry babies and beg near hotels, temples, etc. They even train young children to follow people and get money, they are so particular only about money, they are not happy if people give them bread or some food stuff. even a rupee coin makes them happy is what i see and for younger children, its really a pitiable condition to see them like that, initially i never used to give, i used to say very calmly not to beg. but now, when i see such people i tell them very harshly to do some work and not to beg. I consider giving alms only to those people who can really do nothing, nothing in real sense, even if old i dont consider them until and unless they are fine and they can walk properly, because i did come across old people working as security guards and auto drivers and earning their livelihood, even handicapped for that matter, hence, i dont encourage beggars in any ways, there are many ways to do charity rather then giving rupee coins to beggars.

Well I used to give just any beggar who comes along to me purely out of guilt or simply to get rid of them. Then i realize that by giving alms just encourages more beggars in the streets and it did not make me feel happy after all just doing charity out of guilt or compliance. I still want to help the needy but I don't want to encourage dependency and laziness to the abled ones. I still give alms but I choose the ones whom to give. If I see the beggar is handicapped and old to work, I would give but if I see that the beggar is fit to work or simply putting up an act to get sympathy, I simply ignore them. Sometimes I give in kind instead of cash like food. If a child comes to me begging I would usually ask him/her where his parents are and what he needed the money for? Some parents actually use their children for begging to earn money or tell their children to beg in the streets and this is what I really hate. I prefer to give bread or food to street children than money.

I'll give alms if the following conditions are satisfied
1/ the beggar must not be strong : what's the reason that a weak girl works and then give money for a healthy person who can earn a manual work by oneself.
2/ the beggar doesn't seem an immigrate: I never encourage the illegal immigrations.
3/ if I have money.

No, I don't do this. Even I don't like the beggar at all. Overall hardworking people never beg from anybody they just do hard work.

NO!!!I don't give to beggar because, this is a business to them, and they are using the money for their drug habit, and they are using the money for their drinking habit, I had a woman ask me for some money one time, and when I told her I didn't have any money, on me she said I hate a liar, I didn't have any money nothing but my bus ticket, and I don't think I have to support her, and she was drunk any way, I won't have given her ten cents, I don't like my money to be wasted on drugs and drinking.
