Do you think that it might possible be the case that clouds are simply sheep that have floated out of their fields into the sky? Is that why we shear them? To keep them earth-bound? And are the stars sheep that have drifted far out of our orbit into space?

Maybe the clouds are from the sheep shedding? No maybe not, they'd get caught in jet engines...

You are very silly. Everyone knows the clouds are fairy castles and giants castles and dragons and knights and, sometimes, sheep. The stars are sprinklings of fairy dust to blind the giants who chase the fairies. I am surprised at you not knowing all this.

As usual you weren't listening when I told you. Too busy working out the astronomical significance in Brighton I suppose.

We shouldn't shear them anymore. They will be much happier floating around out there with the stars (which, I believe, are little wishes we send out there for confirmation). I have quite a few little stars out there at the moment. I hope someone's listening and taking notice ...

Now, that is an interesting theory. Were it true, then the sheep that we count at night jumping over the fence are either going from daytime to nighttime, or mighttime to daytime, I guess it all depends on what time we count the sheep. Before midnight, turning into stars for the night, after midnight, coming back from space and turning into clouds for the next morning. Hmmm...

Hey p1ke! Have you been drinking? Or have you hit your head
today? What did this come from? Has someone given you something
funny to smoke or have you been eating some of Rosekitty's
brownies? Why do you think sheep are floating in the sky?
Are you alright P1ke? I'm a bit concerned about you now! I
don't think that the clouds look like sheep. What's going on
with you today? Are you ill?

What have you been smoking and can I have some? LoL No, I just think clouds are the creator's way of entertaining us and star's are to keep us dreaming and thinking. Our Creator had to put something up there, if there was nothing then we would just see all black at night and get depressed and blue in the day and be boring! I like to have something to keep my mind thinking and moving.

It's a sound theory if I've ever heard one, Mr Pike. Either that, or God's actually a cat and clouds are his version of furballs! However, I always thought that stars were Tinkerbell's b@sta@rd children all drifted up and away. Those Lost Boys DID learn about procreation in the end you know and from what I hear, Tinkerbell got around quite a bit.
Sheep do sound much nicer though and it's far easier to explain this particular angle to the kiddies too.
