 In the past, ladies are said to wear only skirts. It symbolizes their role in the society.
Through the years fashion statements had evolved. So, it doesn't really matter what you wear.
Ladies out there, what would you prefer? Pants or skirt?

Mostly dresses.
I am too skinny to fit into any jeans that actually look good, so I wear dresses nearly everyday

As for what do I prefer? I prefer to be judged as a person first and then as a woman. I prefer to use good judgment in these areas.
I would not pick a skirt on a windy day. It worked for Marilyn Monroe but it doesn't work for me. I think pants are much more appropriate in this setting or when the weather is below zero and your legs are turning blue. Going to a wedding or a fancy dance in jeans would be a little awkward. It's fun to spend a lot of time either making or looking for the right dress.
I like to be creative with color and design. I like to mix and match and today because it's St. Patrick's Day, I will dig for something green to wear. I hope this was not unkind but after growing up never being allowed to wear pants unless you were working on the farm, I am glad those days are gone. I like freedom of choice and variety in moderation.

| 4. spalladino (9074) | 10 months ago |  I never wear skirts or dresses. Never liked them and have always found pants to be more comfortable and easier to deal with on a day to day basis. In fact, the last time I wore a dress was in 1974...on my wedding day.

Im sorta the girly type. I wear skirts and dresses as much as I wear slacks to work. I really all just depends on my mood and if I feel like ironing in the morning.
