The law that allocated revenue for AIG (and others) included language allowing for the payment of bonuses.. so how is it outrageous that AIG complied with that part of the law?

The only thing I know about this situation is it's already played out.
Washington knew about the bonuses for ages now. I'm more mad at the UK banks getting 14 billion! Germany got more! It's insanity. This diversion stuff is nonsense.
They allowed bonuses and it's unconstitutional for the government to interfere now. They're trying to create outrage, in my opinon, just to see how far they can get through the back door of America's true law. That way, the next time they do it, it will be that much easier.
The only really shocking thing about all of this, to me, is the fact that the public still buys into the feigned "outrage" from the administration. Obama's on Leno tomorrow to try and make the late-night laughers angry about it. It's all just... uggg!
