I am sure every one has own reason of wanting to buy a product, what is your ? Is it because of the price, the color, the features , the ingredient or whatever you have in your mind. Why is that important to you?

I rarely shop, so only if i really cant do without it, do i take a step out of the house with the idea of shopping.
Quality is important, but not very much that i rely heavily on branded products. I like to try new things in the market and usually i have a good eye for quality stuff that lasts long, stays strong and never goes wrong.
The stuff matters, so does the craftsmanship - cheap machine imitations rarely appeal to me when its not stationary or food and household products.
I usually search for places that gives me the same product from the same company for a more moderate price - there are many places like that in the nook and corner of the city ordinary people rarely notice - also called wholesale shops. When i buy i tend to buy in quantity, and fill the stock to last for a few months - so this works out well for me.
Usually i know exactly what i want even before i start searching for it - sometimes i dont find the same thing, but its almost same, give or take a few details.
Elegance, usefulness, materials used, cost, quality - sometimes one has to be sacrificed for the other, but that again depends on the need and how long i want it to be around me.
Happy mylotting.

Actually the habit got rubbed off from my Dad - its hardly the thing someone of my age would do, but it supports my craze for leaving the house as few a times as possible, getting the best things with spending the least time as possible, and being satisfied with the whole thing - this has grown on me.
You never told us about your preference. what do you search for when out with a shopping bag, if you dont mind me asking..

Of course i don't mind you asking me , haha... Like i said in one of my comment above, i usually look at the quality first, then the rest come second and third provided i have enough money in my wallet to pay for it. Occasionally, i will have to settle for others like feature and price if i am short of money at the end of the month, then i will have to settle for cheaper price and presumably lower quality too, but then i have to be sure it will work like what it say.

So you buy in large quantity so it lasts for several months, it is rare . I bet the retailer or wholesaler will love to see you around, since you tend to buy so much and plan so far ahead of time, i am sure you are capable to make the right decision for
choosing the right product whenever you shop even though you are a young gal. lol!!!
Thank for your response.

i check the price my wife checks the features or the ingredients. for me it is always the cheaper the better har har har. the last i went to the grocery without her i bought a cheap detergent for the plates and she was mad that she said that cheap product cant get the greese of the pans. so she said it was more waste of money to buy the cheap ones that deos not help in cleaning. so we stick to the not cheap but promise to do what the product promise than to buy something that the only good thing is the price.

Your wife is right , my friend. If you buy based solely on price only like the case of dish washing detergent, it is cheap but can not clean your plates thoroughly, ending up you have to used more in order to do the job you want, it is like wasting money too because you can only used a lot less time with the quantity before you run out, so you are not actually saving but spending more if you only care about price alone, you have to be sure next time whatever you buy also can do the job you want it to do before your wife throw that useless stuff on you. Hahaha.... just a good advice for you.
Thank for the response.

i am a single mom of four children and i make sure i only buy things when it is worth my money. first of course the price and the brand. well of course it all depends on what is that product, but i always make sure to look at the price. if the price is affordable and it is something that most of my children will use then i buy it. i dont buy something we dont really need.

I care for the need for something. If I really need something then I consider everything, price, quality, availability, etc.Cheers!!

for me quality is the most important thing, if there is good quality in an item, i will go forward spending any amount of money, but if the quality sucks and the rate is high, i will not even like to see that product, let the features be amazing and whatever ingredient it may be made of , being worthy for money also is an important factor.

Hey,
Yea the main reason I buy something is because of its features. I don't really buy many things, but when I do, I normally buy tech related things such as digital cameras, net books, laptops, TV's and you know the rest. But not only is it because of the features, but I have to also look at the price. Is it really worth it for the features? Also the design of whatever I want to buy. The design itself has to be really good, if it doesn't look good, I won't buy it. Have a great day everyone!
