Shopping for Wedding Favors on a Budget  

wedding favors from SLC or Samantha Laurence Candles..they have lots of designs to choose from and very affordable too..not only that but also the candles are very unique and really a good wedding favor..like their candle that looks like real cupcakes, ice cream & Cakes..^^

You should try your local craft stores. There are many things yo or your bridal party can make yourself. I used to own a bridal shop and also made and sold crafts for the wedding.

I am in the process of planning a wedding as well. I would suggest that you look around some bridal shops or websites, magazine, to get ideas and maybe doing it yourself or having family/bridesmaids, etc help you think of ideas and actually doing them

I'll be honest, until I started planning a wedding I'd never even heard of Wedding favours.

which means a lot of my guests won't have either.

and that it is not an essential part of a wedding.

so if we can afford it near the time, we'll get something for wedding favours, but if not, we'll leave them out entirely.

none of the guests will even notice that there aren't any.


but that's my basic rule of thumb.
if I'd never heard of it before seeing it in a wedding magazine, I probably don't need it.

If you are crafty, you can take salsa jars and paint on the outside of them~ flowers or something like that. Then buy votives and use them as candles on the table and as favors too.

I have choosen some favors for my wedding. I am taken round pieces of tulle. Putting a plastic spoon in ceter of tulle. Then I am adding a few Hershey Kiss candy to the spoon. Then I am gathering the tulle around the bottom of spoon. and adding the colors of my wedding ribbon to each with a small note that says"Kisses from the Mr.&Mrs.". Also we picked up these little bags you use for favors. We are going to add some halloween candy to each one since my wedding is halloween day. Also I had remembered when I was in school the teachers would take a white kleenex and wrap it around a sucker and put a face on it. So we decided to add that as a favor, but we are going to add a little touch by adding a sticker to each with a message from us to them on the sticks. Hope you can use some of these.. you can even change the version of the suckers. Happy MyLotting!!
