I know years ago there were so many more talk shows and i used to love watching them. Now Maury is on everyday for two hours and its annoying trying to find the babies daddy.
It used to be Montel, Sally, Jenny Jones, Ricki Lake, Jerry Springer and im sure im missing one. It used to be so much fun watching them. I do miss those shows.

I'm not much of a tv watcher but I used to watch morning talk shows occasionally when I would take a coffee break. I quite enjoyed Montel Williams and I was disappointed when I couldn't find his show anymore. I'm with you - Maury is ridiculous and annoying. The baby daddy and "is this a man or a woman" shows are just an audience full of people screaming. No redeeming value or interesting conversation, that's for sure.
There's Oprah or Dr. Phil, Tyra or Ellen but those are technically "afternoon," not morning, I think. I can't stand any of them except Ellen but I rarely catch her show either.
I think cooking shows are what happened to morning talk LOL I look through the listings and it seems there is a wealth of them... from the big names like Rachel Ray and, to a degree, Martha Stewart (even though her show covers a lot more topics) to a lot of shows that feature specialty cooking - either by region, culture, type of food, "what's for dinner" and more. One show I've watched more than the others is "Take Home Chef"... I really couldn't care less what Curtis is making... he's mighty nice to look at LOL!!
