Yes, I cannot deny the anti-aging factor in grape fruit. The much better than grape is prune fruit. The latest research and had been certified is mangosteen extract, I mean the violet membrane between its skin and fruit. Resveratrol is similar to Belgian beer which produced from oats. My faves drink, Belgian beer.

no I never heard of it, I don't keep up with all these things, I find most of them don't work, once you get off the stuff lose the weight you put it all back on again and sometimes even more.

Well, to be honest with you, I think that 99.99% of all man made drugs have very bad health side effects. It is like the allergy pills that help you breath but cause liver damage or heartburn medicine that causes heart failure. All of these man made drugs are sent out into the market and them prescribed by physicians. It is a conspiracy. Don't be fooled by "FDA Approved"...Do you even know how little is required to be FDA approved. They basically need to know the ingredients and have some kind of report containing the results of a study done. The study doesnt have to be long term either. What happens is, is that the drugs get "FDA approved" and then goes into the market. That is when the "real" study is done. Physicians get money to promote the drugs. Do you ever wonder why the doctors says, "come back if you have any side effect." Well, it isn't just because they care about your health, but they are also reporting the results to the drug companies. And the drug companies put away a certain percentage of their sales for lawsuits. Take for instance "The Patch"..You know, the birth control patch. Well, do you think they knew it would cause blood clots?? No, they found out after it was sent into the market. Same for artificial sweeteners. Same for hundreds of other drugs. They make very appealing commercials and make them sound "safe" but never do they actually say or claim "This drug is completely safe" there are always a list, a long list, of side effects. Anyway, I don't think any of the man made chemicals are safe. They may work, true enough, but is being skinny worth dying for????? That is the real question...

The best way to loose weight is to eat less and exercise more. I wore this calorie dealy thing on one of my workouts and just my weight workout alone burned 800 calories. It was a heavy day though and I was using weights higher than my body weight. Weighing 125 I used 155 on bench press and 185 on squats and it was free weights. I did much more also using body weight such as chin ups and dips. I try to stick under 1400 calories when I want or need to loose weight. Winterrose is correct. We will put the weight back on usually from a fad diet UNLESS we eat a reduced calorie diet following the fad diet. If you can stay on a good diet for 3 weeks it is then ok to have one cheat day a week. Of course that does not mean eat bad all day but if its someones birthday and you want to have pizza or cake and ice cream it would be ok.

Never heard of the stuff, but I've heard about the benefits of grape seed before and apparently it had good effect on your son, so that's a good testimonial. I've also heard about the French drinking all that wine and having less health problems, but it's not just the French, it seems to me there is a Mediterranean diet or something, that tries to deal with cholesterol and stuff too.

Instead of drinking wine to get your daily intake of Resveratrol, it might actually be better to eat red grapes instead (cheaper, and healthier). Wine doesn't contain a lot of Resveratrol and it contains a lot of alcohol, which makes you put on the pounds. Resveratrol is good as it has blood-sugar balancing effects and anti-inflammatory effects, enabling a good digestive system. In some context, Resveratrol can help with weight loss but it is not the be-all and end-all. Proper exercise and a good balance of healthy foods is the best way to go.

No, I've not heard of that one. There are a couple of things on the Australian market too but I'm not familiar with their details. A lot of the stuff available in your country doesn't get approval here. Sometimes, I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

Well i did not hear about the mentioned pills, but i am taking Sibutramine Monohydrate Capsules these days, which is helping me to cut down the amount of food intake, it is anti obesity and anti hunger. it kills hunger, but got too many side effects like insomnia, aneroxia and all that.

I have heard about it, but only for general health instead of weight loss. I used to be part of a work-from-home company similar to Amway which sold a product containing Resveratrol. I'd usually have a spoonful of the product with dinner.
