Whats The Problem With Star Ratings Here????

Star rating is not related with the no. of best rating that you have got. It all depends on the way people treated your response. If members have marked your response as negative it will go down and vice versa. There is no way that one or two members can influence your rating in any direction. It is a collective actions that influence rating. Don't worry about star, keep posting informative posts and it will gradually increased. Initially, I posted too many one liners, the result is my star was started with 3 when I reached the hundred. However, now it is getting better. So, avoid using one liner response.... And at last, keep in mind that there are some abuses of this from members, so it does not matter a lot here. Keep posting and enjoy the discussion..........

hii there as i am quite new here i exactly don't know about the star rating. actually i am a bit confused also, that the higher rating of stars is good or lower. currently my rating is 4 is it good or bad??

Best response has nothing to do with your star ratings. The ratings there has something to do with the plus and minus sign at the right bottom of each discussion. If someone rated your discussion/s or your response with plus then it will go up and the opposite will happen when someone keeps on giving you a minus.

i cant possibly tell how these ratings are been done. i guess if you mark me as best response yours will also increase lol...
