Yeah, really? Are you still going to be friends with people who keep on sending you unsolicited SPAM in your PM? Even to the fact that you already give them a message to stop doing it? Are you not going to waste your time going back and forth in your message area to see who have sent you a message? Let me know what's your answers to that.

Sometimes I think the way krupesh does but then, I might also delete friends if they have become bothersome. Like if they sent spams or something.
But if ever I got offended by a friend, I would reconsider before deleting. I might have misinterpreted what he/she said.

I don't delete friends, too. I give importance to friends that I don't want to lose even new ones. If there are misunderstandings, however its's up for them to delete me. Not unless a friend really did something bad that may ruin me, I won't delete him/her.

Same here, friend. I'd dread the day I'll delete anyone. I hope it won't come especially after having a good friendship with that person for some time.

certainly my last resort too. Unfortunately, it is some other people's first resort!

I have deleted users from my list of friends but the were not friends but 'users' in the true sense of the word.
They
- expected ME to sign up for their rubbishy sites,
- expected ME to respond on their discussions and they never appeared on mine
- expected ME to tell them how to place a banner in their profile and never a word of thanks for doing so,
- expected ME to tell them when they did a post that broke the rules and then repeated the same thing the next day after I had told them.
I don't call them 'friends' so I deleted them and good riddance!
...next clean up is programmed for the beginning of next month

Yeah, they are not there when you need them the most. I noticed that too.
But I dunno, when you hate someone so much, it appears beside that person's name. Makes you wanna push it. *shrugs

For what I remembered I have deleted some friends before because of the fact that they are spamming the PM. They keep on sending messages even I already told them to stop doing it. So, I don't have any recourse but to abandon what we have started and get away from that person. At the present, I am doing fine and able to get along with those who have invited me.

I don't consider those sort 'friends'.
They are just names in a list

It's mylot's fault! They put "add as a friend" on everyone. So I thought everyone is supposed to be a "friend". Hehehe

Oh hi kiss, any reason that you know of why you got deleted? I got deleted but I only have speculations why? She didn't confront me about it so I definitely have no idea. If I did something wrong, chances are, I'll keep on doing them because I don't know what I did wrong.
I was 1 push closer to 100/100 on my reputation but some jerk keeps pulling me down.

I have also deleted no friends. I don't like to delete the friends from myLot. I have deleted some of the people in the yahoo chat. One of the reason, I have deleted the people from yahoo messenger is that I don't like people sending spams again and again and I most times tell them that and if they don't obey it, I will delete the people from yahoo messenger.

Do they earn from sending spams? I think I'm beginning to get some myself. And they are quite bothersome.

Yes I did something like that before its because I have a friend that I know from someone...she became so envious of me and started to blackmail me... she was backstabbing me and telling make-up stories... my long time friends didn't believe her and they told me... after a year of what happened, lately she wants to add me as a friend again but I blocked her. She's a loser

Did that happen in mylot or somewhere else? Real life?
Oh yeah, I'd like to delete some real people in my real life too. Like the ones who have no significance to me. LOL. Just kidding.

I havent deleted a friend from mylot, but I have deleted friends from myspace and facebook because we never talked or anything like that. I have deleted people from myspace who posted too many of those bulletin things.

No, not the admin. I am not sure if the admin sends any of those. (But then, yeah, maybe the admin does too.LOL. Just a thought)
Anyway, some people have been complaining that they received a lot of SPAMs from their myLot 'friends'. They could get bothersome so they are forced to delete this people from the friends list.

Some people actually have sound reasons for doing so. Like when they get a lot of SPAMs or referral links, etc. I think that's really bothersome. So they delete that user.

I haven't ever deleted a friend, and I don't think I ever will, I find no reason, since all my friends are decent and kind and fortuanatly there have been no miscommunications before, I guess I have been lucky that some unkind user hasn't sent me a request, I think that it is very kind of you to have not deleted anyone as a friend...
Happy-Mylotting!

Thanks. Yes, I haven't tried deleting anyone. Like you, my friends here have been the nice sort.
I was the one who got deleted for a reason I don't know. I only have a suspicion why but she never told me exactly the reason. I tried asking and apologizing but to no avail.

I haven't done that yet... Though there are friends whom I actually had misunderstandings and miscommunications before, I haven't tried deleting them.. I leave that option up to them. I mean, its their choice if they choose to delete me or what, but I would not opt to delete them.. ^_^

Yes, I delete some friends sometimes but not often. The reason is simple. My friends lost the login information and can not sign in the communication tool. In this case, I will delete him and try to add his or her new number. Even there are some unhappy things happen, I will not delete them because of these. In my opinion, having friends are really important to me. So I do not delete them easily.

I haven't deleted any friend nor do I intend to delete. I can't think of any reason why I should delete them even if they will give me negative rating or response.

Some mylotters experience receiving a lot of SPAMs so that's their reason for deleting the user.
Hope it doesn't happen to you.

Well, I have not deleted any friend of mine here. I know that they are just around. Though some of them may not be active anymore, there is always a possibility that they will be coming back. Well, I have nothing to lose if I delete them but of course have always the chance to reply once again to their discussions should they come back.

Some get deleted because they keep sending SPAM according to some responders here. As of inactive people, I usually just leave them alone.

Certainly. I mean, who really wants to, right? Nobody would delete someone to earn because he doesn't in the first place.
Some people really have their reasons. I just pity those who got deleted by petty misundersatndings.

I see you're new here. I did end up in heated arguments before when I was still new. And as days went by I guess I have adjusted and slowly learned the means and ways on how to avoid confrontations.
I still stress my point when I really need to without having to end up in an argument. Another thing is I try to consider the feelings of the other person so I also try not to offend him or her.
I do admit of playing safe sometimes if that's a way to keep myself from plunging down in my reputation. I do have goals here too. :-)
Keep adding friends....but just stay away from those who are only courting trouble.

... If they don't like me then they can delete me hee hee but I'm not a person who does that, it's kinda rude somehow, right?
you can't please all people... sigh... I haven't put a lot of time on here so I don't think I an reach 500 till the end of the month lol...
