wtf? Hres 230, recognizing cinco de mayo  | | | |  Here you go gang, the house of represenatives earning their pay and making good use of our tax dollars that pay their sallery. House Resolution 238, a bill recognizing the importance of Cinco de Mayo. I don't know whether to laugh or express outrage at this collosal waste of valuable legislative time. though, I supose the more time they spend on stupid stuff like this, the less time they can spend wrecking the country. Though my larger concern is this is one more step in gaining the acceptence of Mexican culture as our culture.

They already have May Day festivities here every May 1st. Do you remember the huge pro-illegal immigration rallies on May 1, 2007. Those were the biggest, though the CPUSA celebrates 5/1 every year here. Gotta' wonder how much of that celebrating is done with educational grant monies, eh?
