How often do you clean your stockroom/storage room?  

i clean the storage room every saturday.. this is called a storage room and as such is liable to attract insects and pests, so i clean it every saturday and woulnt fear or worry much about pests... as for boxes, i know every box and so i need not label them...

i never clean my store room.....

My flat is so small and dont have a store room>I have to keep everything inside the kitchen itself.I will all the stuff in containers and clean the cup board monthly twice in my free time.I just dust it with broom and arrange all containers in order and check every container.If anything over i will write down it to buy when i go to the market.Happy mylotting...

Oh my! Quite an interesting question! It's so funny to think of it but I seldom clean my stockroom--well I guess only if I'll be needing some stuffs there and I need to rearrange things there to find that stuff.I'm so allergic to dust that I refrain myself from even getting inside.

shame on u for brining that up. lol.. i need to do that.i have a outside storage room at the end of my carport that badly needs it. i just do whatever it takes to get it straight. i think it would be a good idea to label boxes if u have them. it's just like any other room, u do what it takes. have fun. when u get through w/yours u can come help me. lol

We built a storage shed out back and that is where we keep all of our excess items like holiday decorations and yard and garden tools and the like.
I do have a small room off my back porch that I call a mud room where everyone comes in the house that way and can take off their muddy shoes from being in the garden or just outside mowing or whatever. That way I do not have the mess in the house.
This room is heated so I also have a shelving unit along one wall that gives me space to store extras from the grocery store such as paper towels,toilet tissue and things like that.
It is a tile floor so a quick sweeping and mopping and it is just like new again.

My storage room is a chaos.

I have a house about square meter,it is not too large,but I think I am lazy to clean it,I only clean it once a weak,and it often takes me two hours,because when I in the house on Saturday and Sunday,I feel it is so dirty that I even can't stay,so I clean it,and very carefully!

Hi elmolovesu! That is one room that I have given up organizing at this time! LOL! I have relinquished my cleaning apron on the storage room over to my husband. haha..Anyway, 99 percent of the things in there belongs to him. He put everything in boxes, labeled them and then will wrapped the boxes in plastic. he wants doing that stuff since he always want to know where all his stuffs are. So, I am off the hook!

We have a little room in our basement that we store things in. It gets cleaned out as needed, but it is pretty organized. Right now, it has things that I plan to get rid of in it. I am waiting for the weather to warm up before I do much with it. Once that stuff is gone, I will probably use it to store my kids outside toys if my husband doesn't find his own use for it.
