I get migraines about once a month...not sure if this is what you have or not. If the pain is stabbing and on one side and you have nausea than it might be. I take Excedrin Migraine medicine because the Rx drugs I had for the migraines would take the headache away after 1 hour...but then it would come throbbing back worse than before and I would feel dizzy and tingly over my whole body. OTC meds are a lot better if you don't won't side effects.

they are migranes i get them often everytime i take something i throw it back up so i gave up on taking anything for them i have to talk to the dr about it again when i go back.

I'm with angela_allen on this one. I get migraines, especially when the weather changes, and I take Excedrin Migraine. It works really well. There's only been a few times when it hasn't but that's only because I didn't catch it in time and I was too sick to take anything.

I have to say next time you get a migraine if the meds the doctor give you don't work get a cup of coffee and drink.. Coffee is supposed to help. If it doesn't then get two freezer masks one to wear regular and the other to put on the back of your neck and then confin yourself in darkness. I'm sorry but if O.C. and prescirption meds don't work then I would just try hit and miss somethings to help with the symptons. I take shots for the migraines that I have when I wake up that are already there I have pills that you are supposed to take when you feel one coming on. I know that once you have one that establishes itself it's dang near impossible to get rid of the dang thing.

Try the shots you can't throw that up!!!
