So I have had my chi for like 4 years and it was the most expensive and latest thing when I bought it. However now that it went out I was trying to find one that was less expensive and that is when I ran across the T3 Toumaline flat iron that retails at 179. I finally bought it today. Has anyone used it? It is the lastest and greatest and I hope that it works better than my chi becuase I really liked it.

I am pretty sure the CHI is less than the T3 iron. My mom got a Chi flat iron for her sister at JCPenney Salon for $80! They had a huge sale plus my mom is an associate and gets 15% off the Salon. I have never used the T3 flat iron, but my aunt swears by their hair-dryer. I am pretty sure it is a very reputable brand for $179 it should be!

I had a chi for a few days and didn't like it. It left ridges in my hair and was so skinny it took forever to do my hair. I returned it and got a Conair Ceramic flat iron. Although that is somewhat of a misnomer. It is actually slightly curved. It is a bit easier to use. I don't have ridges anymore and I can do bigger sections since it is much wider than the chi. Another big plus is that it cost much less! Also, always remember to use the heat protecting spray before using any iron product, curling or flat.

I haven't used that brand. I have an ISO that I bought at the mall that works really well.
