Will you be switching off your lights for one hour today?

I certainly intend to Mimpi. The fact that i am out every Saturday at that time to pick up my Dad makes this task a lot easier for me. In any case, even if i was at home i would do it.

It's about coming together and expessing soildarity for a cause that i believe in. No point in just being vocal about it.

In reality how many will come out in support is a question indeed. A saturday night, people out in entertainment, will they really support it? I have my doubts and in a few hours we will know for sure.

It's what happens after this and how this event is used to transform people's thinking which will be important i feel. If it's going to become just another annual event, then i do not see much of change.

For us in australia on the eastern site, it is past 8.30pm. My family didn't register for earth hour but we had turned off our lights for earth hour.

I will do it. The time slot has been decided as 2030 hrs to 2130 hrs. Let us join in every effort to save the earth, however small it might seem.

It helps or not, my self-believe is it does help. A little always next to enough just like a cent to a million. Without one cent it won't be a million. Hello dear mimpi. Right now it is 19:28pm in my place. So there is still one hour before it is 8:30pm, but I don't think that it is practical for me to turn off my light in the room because I still want to stay on line for another two hours or so. But there is no problem for me to sleep earlier tonight at nine o'clock or so. I really wish to sleep earlier tonight with sweet dreams one after another. Take care, mimpi.

I will join the Earth day. I am an advocate of saving the mother earth. This one way to show how we love our mother earth.

already,there is lots of loadshedding,now what is this for one more hour???but i am all for helping mother nature,so i will try to put up with this inconvienience also but i dont think these multiplexes will follow this one-hour routine.they will be more concerned about making profit(as that is their good time as peoplecome from offices)

Will it will definitely save millions of watts of energy and bring down the warmth by a small fraction.I like to do that provided my daughter studying for the annual exams is not disturbed.Or else I can keep one light and a fan for her and switch off the rest of the lights.I just feel like doing something.

It is 6:10 PM now,As I am at GMT+6 hours time this will start from after 20 minutes. I wish vote for earth. Though I think media houses, multiplexes and corporate houses will not do it. I wish to do it and think that it may help a little bit. Thanks all.

Yes, I can do it. I do see most of my neighborhood participating in the cause. I don't have anything important to watch on T.V. anyways. I could pass the time practicing for a blackout. I just talked with friends to pass the time.
