No, it's not the end of tax season - I got 2 weeks for that yet...
But my son who's in the Navy, stationed in Sasebo Japan is coming home for a month!!! He'll be home on April 8th, a week before his 23rd birthday!!! I haven't seen him in about 18 months. I am so excited! The last few times I've talked to him on the phone he's sounded so grown up! I am very anxious to spend some time with him. This time I'm going to make sure I take lots of pictures - last time I totally spaced that out.

Thanks! I am going to take the 2 days after tax season off and spend a bit of quality time with him. It should be a very interesting visit!!!

My first hubby loved Sasebo. I hope your son has had a good time while he has been away. Used to it was only nine month cruises. Or rather six month cruises that took nine months counting travel time back and forth. They do grow up.

He really likes it over there. He's been there for 3 1/2 years and will be there for another 2 years on the same ship. After that he's not sure what they'll do with him, but he did reinlist for 6 more years. I think he's going to make a career out of it.

have wanted to see him! I am so happy to hear that he is
finally coming home and for a month! That is wonderful news!
I remember how disappointed you were Christmas when he
wasn't able to come then. I hope you have a great month
spending time together!

Thanks! It's really great that his flight gets in at the closer airport, right about the time I would normally leave work! I'll swing by and pick him up on my way home Wednesday night.
