Hey,
I don't really know what you should do, sorry about this, I hope everything turned out fine. Hopefully someone else will be able to answer your question better than I have done, in a really good way so you can actually benefit from it. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

My Nokia phone also once fell in a bucket of water T_T I immediately dismantled and wiped it, and lo, it became dysfunctional. I wasn't able to use it properly, so I kept it. After a month or so, and I tried using it again, the functions are back. Needless to say, it became good again and I as able to use it again.

Your cell phone sure has a sentimental value to you as it is bought from your 1st salary. Nokia is a good brand and as proven in my past experience, my nokia which was kept in my pocket was put in the laundry machine when I had my laundry done. It had been in the water for half an hour before I retrieved it. I immediately open up the case and battery and use my hair dryer to dry it thoroughly. I didn't switch it on for a week and when I finally switched it on, to my surprise it functioned very well and up till now am still using it in perfect condition.
