Cleaning Your Computer

Well, my lappy rerely gets dirty because i always put my lappy back into its case. I understand some people find that troublesome but to avoid getting dust all over it, i'd rather pack it all up. But i do keep this soft pad which serves at a cleaner. My friend bought it for me at a computer sho. It's really useful because the dust really do stick on it...^_^

I don't clean my desktop i blow it, thereby removing all the dust

I dust it as often as I should. But I clean the innards twice a year. By the way I use a desktop. When I clean its internal parts I clean even the fans especially the fan of the processor. I also disconnect the wires and dust off the motherboard.

Aside in cleaning its hardware I also discard files that I no longer need and keep my anti-virus updated. My desktop is five years old and still works properly.

By the way I also reformat it every year. That should keep your computer in good shape.

This discussion will serve as a good reminder to clean my computers. I dont really have a routine of cleaning my computer. Once it has enough of dust on it I just wipe it off. I use a LCD cleaner to clean the screen. On average I clean it twice a month. I clean my laptop more often though, mainly because it travels with me sometimes and gets dusty quickly.

I'm cleaning my computer whenever i have the chance. I'm just using Ccleaner for fast and easy clean up. I do some scandisk from time to time and defragmentation too. I free up some space whenever there are video files which i am done watching. I'm just using a 40 gigabyte of harddisk so i guess it's pretty easy to clean unlike newer computers now with as high as terabytes of space. That's a lot but that would be great. lol!

well i have some screen spray and PC only cloth with me...to clean ..them.
some of my friends clean their pc everyday...but me....not daily..when i saw it's dirty..

I clean the monitor with the soft cloth that came with Laptop.

I don,t find much dust accumulating on my Laptop.

But it is not the case with my PC.I use a small brush to clean the Keyboard.

I clean the rest of my PC with a soft cloth.Sometimes I use some soap water.

I never open my computer.When I call a computer mechanic to fix some problems,that time he will clean inside the computer also.

I clean my computer after 6 month & i use some usefull tools like blower or dry cotton clothes and some chamicals to clean.
It is very good to clean computer becasue so much dust can generate heating problems, & computer gets hang.

When i got a new computer. always and always i used to clean it everyday of my life. Lol for 2 years . Everyday still it got dirty either with the dust or crums in keyboard or somthing like that. Then i just left it one day. I got so bored cleaning when i know its of no use. Haha . So i just left it now as it is . Lol. I hardly clean it now. It's just when it too dirty and looks disgusting i clean the monitor and the keyboard with a wet cloth. Other wise i dont, anyways nice discussion buddy .Happy mylotting:)

i have a air duster which sprays air into my keyboard to get all the dust out. It does a great job and is fun to do.
