Well, I've had that feeling before but it went away when I found a hobby. I started playing World of Warcraft and my boredom went away. It was like a whole new world for me to explore and conquer so that made me pre-occupied.

I seldom experience boredom nor felt my life to be in a certain routine. I guess because I try to do a regular activity differently from time to time. Just like how I do myLoting, today I started browsing topics from "friends started" tab, then tomorrow, I might do it from the "today's top" all the way to the "no responses" part or may do myLotting in the morning for a change.
Another way is to find a hobby that I will enjoy doing every time I have a spare time. I usually read books or newspapers but now I am trying to finish a set of 100 difficult Sudoku puzzles in my mobile phone.

Hi there France 7!
I coped up with boredom with the help of the internet, my friends and family, music, books, movies and TV shows. I also make scrapbooks when I'm bored and I'm in the mood for crafts.

I read, A LOT, when I'm bored. Also, if I feel like I'm in a rut, I find new recipes to try and spend my day baking them. Also, to try from getting into a run, I make all sorts of different things for breakfast for the kids. Yesterday morning I actually made pancakes that tasted like banana bread, I've made them peanut butter and jelly french toast a couple of times, and I've even made them green eggs and ham. Plus they like snakes, which is just biscuit dough rolled out then lay cheese and ham or whatever you want on them and roll it to look like a snake (that was Paula Deen's recipe only she used crescent rolls I think).

glad to meet you here boofy. I think that you are really a great mom as it is shown in your response. you seem to be very interested in cooking and i guess that is really a great way not to feel boredom. I am very much sure, too that your kids enjoy eating what you are serving...i would like to try that too and thanks for the response. Blessings!:)
