| spring vegies  | | | |  Are you enjoying asparagus? I have been buying it from Cosco in 2lbs packages. It takes the two of us 4 days to eat it all but we are loving it. Next week i don't think I'll get any because I think by then we will be sick of it. I just break it and put it in the microwave with a little water for about 4 mins, then serve with butter and salt and pepper. I like it this way as much as any other and I'm lazy.
Do you like this and how do you cook it?

| |  Asparagus is sold like gold here. It is the most expensive vegetable. Eating asparagus is a luxury and can't afford it everytime. I don't know why it is expensive. I normally cook asparagus with prawn paste which is my favorite way of cooking it.

| |  I simply love asparagus and I cook it pretty much the same way you do and I also make a cream soup out of it to that is really good.
I can't wait for the new potatoes and peas to come on so I can have creamed peas and new potatoes and sliced tomatoes and cucumber salad.
Gosh I'm getting hungty just thinking about it....LOL
