I know! Right? Kids are horrid little creatures when a parent naps. Well, I wasn't but then that's because I was the good child.

I do love when the house goes to sleep and I can watch what I want or curl up in the quiet and read.... pure bliss!

I had that happen once... I was dealing with sick kids (I only had the two then) and hadn't had much sleep for a few days. I got them in bed and both were sleeping so I was thankfully headed for sleep. I woke up and the light was just coming up. I was so worried as to why the boys hadn't gotten up. Then I rushed out and noticed that barely 30 minutes had passed because the video I had put on in their room was still going.

It sure was a long week, I think it lasted a month.

It is a really horrible feeling isn't it sweety? Then very soon you realise you haven't slept but are too frightened to try and catch up on those ! Glad I am not the only one that has done that! What surprise that it is you and I who have done the same thing again! lol xxxx

Yeah... I get worried about them and then can't rest right. I jump at every sound. We are fighting a tummy flu right now and the littlest ones and I are ill. Sad to say, I'm kind of glad Hubby has been home for it. He's been a big help.

Yes!!! I thought that only happened to me! it doesn't matter what day, what time, what anything. If by some miracle I get a nap, as soon as I doze off the phone goes. Every....single....time. And of course, hubby wouldn't have a phone by him so it would ring until I threw it across the room...

Diana, My mother is like yours... I take a book or paperwork. I spend an hour or so talking to myself.

When I go to see my mother it is usually for a week. In that time I manage to knit a jumper during her 'non-sleeping' time
I shall be going again for a week after Easter and willget another one done then I have no doubt. I can't knit while I'm on the Lot so I do it when I'm there.

Yeah... I had one of those. Everytime. It drove me nuts. Until the boys told me that it was better when dad was sleeping because he talked too much when he was awake.

I don't think I get near enough good sleep. It seems that several times a week I wake up feeling like I spent the night running track.

I try to get a cup of tea, a good book and a good stretch of quiet before bed. It's a treat. It's the best I tend to do in relaxing.

I get turned into a jungle gym for the littlest one if I try to nap. Nutty kid.

I remember that they grow to fast so I must enjoy moments like that. After all one day they will be*shutter* teens.

For years I wondered what all the fuss was about and now that I can watch all the nakedness I want to my hearts content, it's not that exciting....is it?
