Well for me it is because this profession is one of the hardest to pass amongst other professional course. It requires you to have an undergraduate course before you are required to take another four year law course. Then after that you are required to go on review for the next six months and take the board. Taking the board is not an easy task because compared to other board exams that only uses a multiple type question, majority of the exams are written exams so it needs a lot of good english language command and a good hand writing too. That is why when you pass this exams you are really looked up to because of how hard the exams are being passed and the passing is also very low.

Well if you would also noticed that of all the professional licensure exams this career has far more influential than others too. You can see them almost everywhere from politics to the simplest criminal cases. Lawyers are really everywhere that is why they are far more influential people in our society. A doctor could heal a society, a cpa could manage financial standing of a society, and engineer could build a better society. But a lawyer can really mold a society they can engage in lawmaking, manage a society, bring down a criminal and defend the innocent. You can just imagine the scope they can do to our society. Although we can see them sometimes as a dirty job because they can also do the opposite but hey that is really their job to protect their clientele to the best of their ability.
