soccer starts tomorrow. I havge two kids that are going to play soccer. Don't get me wrong, I love watching them play, but we just finished the wrestling season and I really thought I was going to get a little break from it all. At least for a week! My son's coacj called today to tell me that his first practice is tomorrow. I am still waiting to hear from my daughter's coach. On the bright side, only 6 weeks! Do you find yourself going from one activity straight into another?

no, my child is just 3 years old and we plan on having only 1 child so i don't think i'd be as busy as you when my child's time comes. you just need 8 hours of sleep and you'd be raring to go. besides, i don't think they'd end up playing sports all the time. they'd grow up and before you know it you'd be tidying up your place a lot more because they'd be bringing somebody to meet you there for dinner. good luck to your kids. and stay healthy. happy mylotting!

It is rare that I get 8 hours of sleep any more. In total, we have four kids, ranging from 4 to 11 years old. They keep me going all the time. I love that they are active, but some days, it really drains me.

i just admire people who have many kids. i don't know how they do it. if i were in your position i would've gone berserk :) good thing i was already in my 30's and had known what i can and cannot do well that made me come up with the fact that i can only manage 1 kid. happy mylotting!

My daughter played in the fall and will still be with the same team this Spring. We are going to be dropping out this Spring. She is just not as aggressive as the other girls or as big as they are. It was just not any fun anymore in the Fall. She could have stayed with the younger age group (she's between two age groups) but a certain coach wanted her. She had done really well last year. But this year, she is just tiny next to these girls. The coach is horrible this year too. Her daughter is on the team and has been known to swear at her if she doesn't play well. We are going to drop out gracefully. She played for 3 years and it was fun while it lasted.

Thanks. No, we were told early on in the season that switching teams was not allowed since others in the league would then also want to do the same.

This is my 8 year old son's second season and my 6 year old daughter's first. I hope that they both get along well with their teammates and coaches. The kids all got to the sdame school, so they should know each other. It is a shame that your daughter is no longer enjoying it. Is there anyway that maybe she could just switch teams?
