please tell me what is the USPS consumers tracking number?

Hello every one on the mylot.i purchased an digital camera on the ebay before several days.today the seller give me a e-mail and tell me "your package was sailed out yesterday.the usps consumers tracking number is lc3288****1us".but i can not find this number in the website "www.usps.com".i do not know why it is.if you undrstand it and please tell me of it.and let me know where i can look up this tracking number.thnank you sincerely.good lucky to you. You need to visit the USPS website(Post#1 has the link) then you enter in your tracking number which is the lc3288 number and it will show you where your package is located at. It can be in the U.S or overseas. Alot of the time it doesn't show up for a few days. I would give it atleast 48 hrs and then check it again and I will tell you now that it is not always accurate so if it doesnt show your package on there don't freak because it is probably still on its way just the USPS is behind.

The tracking code helps you do just that, keep track of your package. It is also a way for the person who sent the package to keep track of it. It kind of protects both parties because there is always a record of where the package is.

heres the link: http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm basically this tells you where your package is checked in to. which usps location it is currently, and if its being sent out to be delivered
