Are we as a people big or small?

Have you ever looked up into the heavens of the nightime sky & went wow! Have you ever thought about how big & how small we are. I mean the earth is 300 million times smaller than the sun, & our sun is 300million times smaller than the star argos, & then argos is over 300 million times smaller than the galaxy, & our galaxy is just one in a billion. Yet a ant is 1/100th the size of a human, 7 a enzyme is 1/1000 of a ant, 7 a atom is 1/0000 the size of a enzyme, & a quark even smaller. So are we big or are we small? Why doesn't sometimes seem like we don't make any difference yet make all the difference in the world?

We may be tiny in the scope of the universe, but we're huge and important in our own spheres. To those with whom we are in contact, we're enormous and very important. Isn't that what really matters?

I'm proud that my students and I enjoy each other tremendously. Can we know the absolute truth? I think not. However, it is our duty to strive for this knowledge every day. As we gain little bits of the truth, we grow and prosper, even if we're broke. Are you really a hacker? I hope not. Truth requires integrity.

Apperntly you misinterpt the meaning of a hacker. As great as their is for a person to do evil in the world, they can do just as more good. Yes i'm a hacker. I check security systems & report them immediatly when i find a problem. Don't worry about this site, it's in the green

We as humans are just a small part of the universe. After all are we not just living on a spinning ball in space

Are you sure we are small, if we are so small, why are we not every where?

I think you answered it. If we were big we would be everywhere in the universe. Maybe we are everywhere, if so we have not found ourselves anywhere else. That could mean we are too small to find.

I would not say to small to find, As the expression goes like finding a needle in a hay stack, this problem can easily be resolved, either you shake it out of the haystack or you use a magnet. it is not size that we can not find others, rather method.

Hahaha, yea that is so true...Sometimes we don't seem to make any difference...But then w don't realise that it's because of our species that builds are build, inventions are made and species of animals are reproduced. It really is trues that we make all the difference in the world. Like the issue with stop littering and spitting, if everyone were to participate in that, the whole world could be a better place free of pathogens and bacteria. I guess the effect of each action one of us do, have an impact however small could sum up to be huge...=\

I agree with your idea of changing the world by the enviroment, I must point out however pathogens have been around since the begging, getting rid of those may not be as good as you think, for every action their is a opposite & just as equal reaction, newtons first law
