All I need is to get the Battery charged up that's all. My Husband will do it in a little while.

I know that it can happen easily but that has still never happened to me. :)
Well not yet, but I guess it will one day.
I make mistakes of forgetting to turn house lights and appliances off, that's similar.

Sorry to read that happened to you! (Too bad you don't live closer, I'd let you plug into my garage battery charger and we could kick back with a nice cup of coffee while it recharged.) I'm sure this kind of thing has happened to people at least a couple of times during their driving years! I've done this a few times over the years too. Most of the times that I did it was during the daytime and it's foggy and you need to have those lights on so that other cars can see you...then you shut the car off and forget you had the lights on. I like my one daughters car, the lights go on automatically when it's foggy, or it's dawn/dusk, then once the sun is shining again it shuts them back off again. That's really handy because there isn't the option to forget lol.

well,i dont drive but my hubbby once forgot to put off the lights and we were informed by the security in the wee hours of morning.my hubby was so upset as it meant wastage of the battery life(which indirectly would mean more expenses)

I don't drive, but my partner has done this several times. Not only has he left the headlights on, but has also made the mistake of leaving the internal lights on or not shutting the doors properly.
I've also had to inform many people that they have had their lights on before, some were greatful of the warning, and one wasn't so greatful- he yelled and carried on like I was his wife and told me that his life was none of his business. I wasn't asking about his life, so the next time he'd left them on, I didn't tell him, and he ended up with a flat battery.
Just so you don't think I'm heartless, he was known to be abusive to his wife when she didn't get things done around the house (and she was a great housekeeper), he'd yell and scream every time they got their bills and accused all their neighbours of tapping into their electricity or phone lines (do you think he has a problem with taking responsibility?) and he was arrested after assaulting a door knocker who was collecting for one of the local charity drives (i saw the whole thing happen-was working in the garden at the time).

Yeah, I even locked the keys in the car once when I did leave the lights on. That was not fun either!

No, never, as I don't drive, my friend. It must be pretty agitating when you do forget though, as it runs down the battery pretty quickly, I believe. Sorry to hear this happened to you my friend.
Brightest Blessings.
