Have you filed your taxes yet?

I did my federal right away online, but held off on my state b/c I have to mail it in....well that was way back in February and guess what I now have five days to do them and postmark it. I don't know why I am procrastinating, I guess everything else takes priority at the time. So today I hope to sit down and go over it...oh did I mention they are done I just want to give them a once over before mailing....what a loser I am.
How about you guys?

mine have been done got the money the next day federal anyways and it's all gone we got the state last month and its gone we had to pay the city 300.00 because the 2 places where my husband worked didnt take city taxes out.

We did ours a few weeks ago. It's a pain in the butt and takes a lot of time. But it's something you have to do unless you want to get in BIG trouble. You are not a loser just a procrastinator (like me). I probably wouldn't have gotten them done yet but my husband is the one who got them started! Good luck and hope you get it done soon!

yeah we filed our taxes, got our return back, and paid it all towards debt. Welcome to America...Land of the broke...home of the slaves...
Slavery does not go away...it merely changes forms. When most Americans think of slavery, the early colonial days and the period up to the Civil War comes to mind. However, most of us are slaves of a different type these days. We are slaves to the mortgage and credit card companies...

I filed both state and federal on Turbotax online back in January. I got a nice refund and used it to get a new couch and other things since I recently got married. So I make it my business that I get that stuff out of the way so it would be one less thing to worry about.
