Well I do prepare my own halo-halo at home and I think my homemade halo-halo is great. But you know, there is one halo-halo outlet which really sells the greatest tasting halo-halo ever. I've tasted it just once and I'd say no halo-halo is better than that one. I just can't really remember the name of the food shop but I think it is Dizon's. I think they use coconut milk so their halo-halo has some special taste in it.

^_^ Mabuhay ka jlamela!. . . .
Classic Halo-Halo is still my very best. Like Angeles or Kapampangan Pride the "Halo-Halo Sa Corazon". And "Digman's Halo-Halo Original" of Bacoor, Cavite.
So what makes the Halo-halo sa Corazon special? The owners take pride in the preparation of their ingredients: macapuno, saging na saba, mais and their special beans and haleyang gatas. And full stuffed of ingredients or "malaman". Not just more than ice and milk or ice-cream.
^_^ Salamat and Enjoy!. . . . myLot!. . . .

Hey there! Yeah, me too. I believe Chowking has the best halo-halo.

I think Chowking has a very colorful and enjoyable halo-halo. It's also quite traditional because the ingredients are complete. However, I prefer Razon's halo-halo ~ but I like the original one. Some people think that the people from Pampanga are being snobbish when they say that THEIR Razon's (that's where Razon's originated from) is still the best. Unfortunately for every body else, they're right. It just so happens that I frequent a Razon's branch that is directly under the original management (not a franchise like the Razon's stores in Metro Manila) and they really do have a very different serving, not to mention cheaper prices. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I am not much of a "beans" person, I like Razon's halo-halo better. Its lots of milk, lots of macapuno and lots of banana bits hehe
